Seven integrated departments, one 9,000 m² floor.

Fabrication, slew bearings, induction hardening, machining, fitting, painting and engineering all sit under one roof in Paget — so work moves between them without ever leaving the building. A dragline gear case can be stripped, condition-assessed, re-machined, hardened, fitted and painted on the same floor it arrived on.

Steel fabrication & specialised welding

Submerged-arc, TIG and MIG fabrication led by accredited Welding Supervisors over certified welders and boilermakers — plus ABC's patented ABClad hard-surfacing for wear life on dragline components, dippers and buckets.

Large-diameter slew bearings

Australia's only large bearing manufacturer. We manufacture, refurbish and repair slew bearings for the major OEM fleets — condition-assessing OEM bearings and rebuilding them, fully warranted, for as little as 30% of replacement cost.

Induction hardening & heat treatment

Queensland's most modern commercial induction-hardening facility — case-hardening slew bearings, drums and sheaves, shafts, pins and drive sprockets to a controlled depth, then stress-relieving or normalising in a gas-fired oven before final machining.

Machining

The largest machine shop north of Brisbane. Floor borers, vertical borers, gear cutters and heavy lathes turn dragline drums, slew rings, gear cases and baseplates to drawing — every job leaving with a detailed QA package.

Fitting

Gear-case and main-machinery overhaul to OEM specification — stripped, measured, re-bushed and reassembled with full clearance records. Tightly integrated with fabrication, machining and painting so a complete rebuild never leaves the floor.

Industrial painting

Abrasive blasting and protective coatings to industrial and marine specification — airless and conventional spray applied by trade-accredited painters, with surface-prep and DFT records captured for the QA package.

Engineering & design
