Concept comparison

Three registers of one argument:
Largest machine shop north of Brisbane.

Each direction makes the company's most defensible published claim its headline — then argues it in a different voice. Browse all three as real three-page sites and compare like-for-like pages. You are choosing a voice, not a different company.

Direction 01 · Corporate Industrial Full site · 16 pages

Solid panel corporate

Listed-company gravitas: navy structural panels, a credibility stat band under the hero, named projects and certifications — the safest page to put in front of a BMA procurement panel.

Primary references: Civmec, Bechtel, Bisalloy.
Type: Archivo + Inter · navy #000060 · cyan CTAs.

Direction 01 is now a complete, browsable 16-page site — every nav link, workshop department and an article all resolve. Directions 02 and 03 remain three-page concepts (Home / Capabilities / About).

Direction 02 · Precision Swiss

Measured light

Modernity from discipline, not fashion: numbered capability sections, hairlines, and spec tables — the machine-envelope table as centrepiece. Reads 2025–26 design-literate and cannot age the way trend sites do.

Primary references: Kalman, ICOMAT, Re:Build.
Type: Inter + IBM Plex Mono · navy on paper-grey · radius 0.

Direction 03 · Cinematic Enterprise

Cinematic dark

Dark editorial over ABC's genuinely cinematic raw material — induction glow, weld arcs, 150 t lifts. Single amber accent, single claim per scroll-stop. Reads OEM-grade; nothing regional comes close.

Primary references: Bechtel, Sheffield Forgemasters, Anduril.
Type: Space Grotesk + Inter + Plex Mono · near-black · amber #F2730D.

What to judge

Four questions for the directors. The same four should hold up on every page of every direction.

01

Does it feel substantial?

Does the page carry the weight of a company that lifts 150 tonnes and runs the largest machine shop north of Brisbane — or does it feel like a regional brochure?

02

Would BMA procurement trust it?

Put it in front of a tier-one mining procurement panel. Does it read like a vendor they would shortlist without a second thought?

03

Is the proof legible?

Are the numbers, named projects, certifications and machine specs easy to find and easy to believe — or buried and decorative?

04

Does it feel modern without trying?

Is it contemporary because of structure and restraint — or because of trend effects that will date within two years?

The reviewers' read

Most premium
C — Cinematic Enterprise

Dark editorial over ABC's genuinely cinematic raw material reads OEM-grade; nothing in the regional set comes close.

Most corporate
A — Corporate Industrial

Civmec / Bechtel grammar gives listed-company gravitas — the safest page to put before a BMA procurement panel.

Most modern
B — Swiss Precision

The only direction with no 2015-industrial inheritance; reads 2025–26 design-literate while being the most information-dense.

Best trust + modernity balance
A, by a nose over B

A carries the most conventional trust signals in a contemporary execution; B is more distinctive but demands flawless content discipline.

Recommended path: put A, B and C before the directors as three registers of one argument, and recommend Direction 01 as the primary system — proven grammar of the company ABC most resembles at its best, in a navy it already owns, with the lowest brand risk and highest procurement familiarity. Regardless of the winner, ship the four modules that close the audit's "world-class work / small-shop website" gap: the equipment capability matrix, the named-case-study cards, the brands-we-service row, and the stat band — and graft Direction 06's people-band into About / Careers as the strongest recruiting asset in a tight trades market.
